I’m very glad to be a part of the this talkshow full of people with decades worth of historical research expertise. My research is based mostly around music in a more unconventional way but probably as thorough as a musicologist would. ‘What is the cultural placement of certain music within its zeitgeist’, ‘Why would or wouldn’t I play certain records at certain places’, ‘should we reissue this if we get the possibility’. These are all questions that arise regularly and are a big part of my and Jiwa Jiwa’s ethos. Not everything you can do should be done, and is it your place to do so?

Growing older and becoming a father I’m proud to be sitting at a table where my knowledge isn’t just solely used to provide an atmosphere in a club or radio show, but also to discuss the music and it’s context and the practice of decolonization through my path in music.
